Can I Attend Training?

Admission to DefenceWise courses is open to all members of the police, prison service, security officers, armed services and members of the public. Most of our courses are offered throughout the year for maximum scheduling flexibility. Early registration for our courses is suggested, since class sizes are restricted to ensure the highest possible level of personal attention. Tuition fees are payable in advance. Should a course be cancelled by the organizers then the fee will be returned. Should a candidate cancel for whatever reason within commencement of the course date, then no refund is permitted. Course Payments or non transferable to other courses or other course training dates.

Conduct:

Students, prior to attending our courses, are not expected to have a high level of skill or knowledge. We do ask that they are reasonably fit, have a willingness to learn, and display a professional attitude at all times with regard to training. Defencewise reserves the right to reject, refuse or remove a student from a course if he/she does not comply with our standards of conduct. 


Awards:

Subject to a student achieving the required standard, a Certificate will be issued by DefenceWise within 5 working days, depending upon the course attended. Certain certificates will be valid for a specified period of time. Where students attend a course but do not achieve the standards set by DefenceWise, a certificate of attendance may be awarded at the discretion of the course Trainer.
